This Privacy Policy explains how Evergreen Options ("we", "us", or "our"), operating the web platform CATforge (accessible at catforge.evergreenoptions.com), collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information obtained from students and visitors.

By registering for an account or using CATforge services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide an authentic, adaptive CAT preparation and testing experience:

• Account Information: When you register via Supabase Auth, we collect your email address, encrypted authentication credentials, and optional display name/avatar.
• Test & Academic Performance Data: Your responses to practice questions, sectional scores, mock percentiles, time spent per question, accuracy metrics, and error log notes.
• Transaction & Billing Data: When upgrading to CATforge Pro, payment transactions are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers. We only store payment reference IDs, order status, and plan subscription duration.
• Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device specifications, and interaction timestamps to prevent unauthorized multi-device account sharing and ensure platform security.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for legitimate educational and platform delivery purposes:

• To maintain your secure login session and access permissions.
• To compute sectional scores, percentile estimates, and personalized IIM call probabilities.
• To maintain your customized Error Tracker and weak topic alerts.
• To process subscription payments and send transactional invoices.
• To prevent fraudulent access, abuse, and automated content scraping.

CATforge utilizes modern browser localStorage to store your active session token and client-side test states (such as question review flags during a timed sectional test). We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site advertising cookies.

6. Data Security & Retention

We enforce strict security controls, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit and Row-Level Security (RLS) in our database, meaning students can only view and query their own test records. We retain your performance data for as long as your account is active so you can review your year-over-year preparation trajectory.

7. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You have the full right to:

• Access an export of your test attempts and scores.
• Request correction of any account profile information.
• Request complete and permanent deletion of your account and associated records.
